Let’s talk about a suitcase makeover with Moxie Paints!
Lets see what you can do to old suitcases, how many ways you can paint them and how you can use them in your decor. This is one I just finished about a week ago. It had been sitting in my stash for awhile primed and waiting.
I had done this one already with the grain sack strips on this suitcase makeover, using Moxie Paints in the color Chocolate Truffle. Once I applied the stencil you just couldn’t see the letter of the word Paris. I had designed the stencil and was not happy with it either. SEE, everybody starts a project and ends up starting over. Just not many people will admit that. LOL
SOOO I started over and wasn’t sure if I was going to have enough paint so I mixed Moxie Linen Jacket and White Picket Fence and painted it all over again. I then chose to use the color Grey Flannel Suit for the grain sack stripes. After resizing the word Paris and stenciling that with Moxie’s Paint using Little Black Dress, I was much happier with the outcome. I am in the process of deciding what I want to do with the inside. I have not finished it yet. You will have to check back soon to see the end results. There are so many ways to do a suitcase makeover. Just check out Pinterest.
Here are a couple that I have done before. I am disappointed that I can’t find the picture of the inside of one of my favorites. Seems it has disappeared. The one on the far right is an image transfer, the middle one is done with an image transfer as well using the color Pure Earth Paint, Coral and the one on the far right was Linen Jacket by Moxie and the stripes were Chocolate Truffle.
